I posted this movie on youtube. It was dakota and my Stright in approach to Summit. It was an untowered field so we know its not good to do a straight in but there was no traffic on unicom. So we thought we would give it a shot.

However - this might be a good time to think about why we over fly a non-towered field

See if you can come up with 5 good answers as to why it is NOT a good idea to make a straight-in approach to a non-towered field. (AIM 4-3 for starters)
